This is a page dedicated exclusively to photos of purple lilac bushes. They are probably my favorite flowering bush because they are beautiful, but more importantly because of the amazing smell.

It's easy to smell them from 100 ft. or more away. There is just nothing like their scent. Wish I could put some of it on the web site!

Purple lilacs are the New Hampshire State Flower - smart folks! Their pastel colored blooms are unlike anything else that grows.

I grabbed these photos outside our church a couple of springs ago.

Notice the white mixed in with the purple pastel colors. Amazing.

Got a shot of these beauties in our garden this spring. Sweet, sweet smell!
